The Rays are an older couple that live on a fixed income and have been honored
guests for several years. In recent months, they have not been able to shop
because she has been seriously ill. A volunteer has been calling on them
regularly with food and other resources and keeping us updated on their needs.
The joyful excitement that erupted from our volunteers last week as they came
back to shop for the first time in many months was lovely. This week they were
back again with the news that they were celebrating their 67th wedding
anniversary. Our volunteers were quick to find a special cake to bless them in their
rememberance of such a special occasion.
